CAD/CAM

Simplify and Streamline the Complex Process
of Fabricating Dental Implant Restorations

Scan Body

The Scan Body is the first step in the digital workflow. It is used intra-orally or with a desktop scanner to accurately digitally capture the x, y, z position of the dental implant in relationship to the remaining teeth and soft tissue. The digital scan is uploaded to the CAD/CAM software to plan and fabricate the final restoration. Ditron Dental is compatible with several CAD/CAM programs including 3Shape, Sirona, exocad and dental wings.

Digital Analogs

The Ditron Dental Digital Analogs were specifically designed for a 3D printed model. It is an integral part of the fully digital procedure, from intra-oral scanning, to virtual dental implant planning, placement and digital restoration printing. The Digital Analog ensures the exact positioning in a 3D printed model.

Ti-Base

Ditron Dental’s Ti-Base has a dual function serving as both an Adaptor and Scan Abutment. It has an integrated 2.45 mm internal hexagon MolecuLockTM connection, insuring a tight dental implant-abutment seal. The Ti-Base supports both single tooth engaged and multi-unit non-engaged cemented and screw-retained restorations. Each Ti-Base includes two identical abutment screws, one for laboratory use and one for the final restoration.

Adaptor: The Ti-Base is an Adaptor between the CAD/CAM manufactured restoration and the dental implant. A superstructure is glued onto the T-Base that can be adjusted as required for aesthetics and function.

Scan Abutment: The Ti-Base is a Scan Abutment used for the digital registration of the dental implant position either intra-orally or with a desktop scanner. The Ti-Base is connected using the supplied abutment screw. A Scan Body is mounted on the Ti-Base and then a digital scan is taken to record the x, y, z position of the dental implant.

The Ti-blanks include a pre-manufactured MolecuLockTM 2.45 mm internal hexagon dental implant-abutment connection. There is a Ti-blank with a non-engaged connection for multi-unit restorations. The abutment screw is included.
