Abutments

The Ditron Dental comprehensive restorative solutions feature a 2.45 mm dental implant-abutment internal hexagon connection for all implant diameters and lengths, simplifying the restorative platform with fewer parts and pieces to inventory. This ensures an abutment solution for all your restorative needs, from a cement-retained single tooth restoration to a full arch screw-retained restoration or overdenture. CAD/CAM Digital Workflow solutions are also available.

Quality & Compatibility

  • Our in-house high precision turning, milling and micro-machining ensure that all abutments are delivered with the highest quality and precision. Biocompatible medical Grade 23 Titanium alloy is used for all Ditron Dental long-term restorative solutions.
  • Abutments, impression copings and analogs fit all standard 2.45 mm internal hexagon connections. Using Ditron Dental’s restorative parts will ensure the perfect dental implant-abutment MolecuLockTM connection.
  • The same dental implant-abutment connection platform is shared by both the MPITM and ULTTM dental implant diameters from 3.3 to 6 mm.

Cement-Retained Restoration Abutments

Select these abutments for single tooth and multi-unit cemented restorations. The abutment connections are either engaged or non-engaged and utilize the MolecuLockTM biomechanical dental implant-abutment seal. There are straight and angulated abutments that vary in diameter from 3.8 to 5.6 mm and in length from 6.0 to 11.5 mm, with collar heights ranging from 1 to 4.0 mm. The appropriate abutment screw is supplied with each abutment.

  • Angulated Ti Abutment 15° & 25° with 8.5 & 11.5 mm lengths
  • Anatomic Ti Angulated Abutment 15° & 25° with 1-3 mm collar heights
  • Slim Straight Ti Abutment Ø 3.8 mm with 6 & 8.5 mm lengths

Healing Abutments (Caps)

The Ditron Dental Standard and Anatomical Healing Abutments (Caps) were designed to guide and sculpt the gingival tissue by replicating the anatomy of the original root form. This provides a natural and aesthetic emergence profile for the final restoration. The abutments are available in various diameters and collar heights.

  • Anatomic Narrow Platform Ø 3.8 mm with 3 & 5 mm collar heights
  • Anatomic Standard Platform Ø 4.6 mm with 2-7 mm collar heights
  • Anatomic Wide Platform Ø 6 mm with 3 & 5 mm collar heights

Impression Copings & Analogs

The Impression Copings (Transfers) are designed to transfer the dental implant’s x, y and z position and hex orientation as well as to capture the soft tissue profile. The Impression Copings are available for both the closed and open tray transfer impression technique. Tight accuracies are maintained with all the Impression Coping parts to ensure that the dental implant position, recorded by the Impression Coping will be accurately reproduced with the Analogs on the laboratory model and the final restoration will be aligned exactly as intended.

Overdenture Abutments

Ditron Dental provides two Overdenture Abutment solutions. The Ball Abutment and the Liberator® Abutment. The Liberator® Abutment’s low vertical profile and innovative swivel capability, increases the resilience and tolerance for the high occlusal forces during chewing. Both abutments have a variety of retention options.

  • The Ball Abutments are available in 0.5, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 mm heights
  • The Liberator® Abutments are available in 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 & 4.5 mm heights.

Screw-Retained Restoration Abutments

There are Straight and Angulated Screw-Retained Restoration Abutments that vary in diameter from 4.7 to 4.8 mm with collar heights ranging from 0.5 to 5.0 mm. The dental implant-abutment connections are either engaged or non-engaged and utilize the MolecuLockTM biomechanical seal. The Straight Abutments are designed for multi-unit restorations and removable or fixed overdenture bar solutions. The Angulated Abutments provide an innovative and low-profile solution for dental implants placed at challenging angles. The appropriate abutment screw is supplied with each abutment.

  • Angulated Multi-Unit Abutments with Hexagon Connection 17° with 2 & 3 mm collar heights
  • Angulated Multi-Unit Abutments with Hexagon Connection 30° with 3 & 4 mm collar heights

Temporary Abutments

The Temporary Abutments are non-engaged and designed for immediate loading procedures on bridges. This allows for immediate aesthetics and function following dental implant placement. Assuming the initial stability of the dental implant, it also avoids a second stage surgery, reducing chair time for both the patient and the clinician. Three different plastic sleeves are available to fabricate the temporary bridge restoration (Hard, Standard & Soft).
