The Scan Body is the first step in the digital workflow.
It is intra-orally or with a desktop scanner to accurately digitally capture the x, y, z position of the dental implant in relationship to the remaining teeth and soft tissue. The digital scan is uploaded to the CAD software to plan and fabricate the final restoration.
